Now is the part where you and your child can have some fun with the sandwich. Find some cool condiments to serve with the grilled cheese. Colored ketchup is always fun, or perhaps honey mustard or light mayonnaise. A fresh garlic pickle will compliment this sandwich nicely as well.

You can also cut this sandwich into some cool shapes. You can get stencils that will cut your sandwiches into a variety of shapes; stars, triangles, moons, and even circles. If you don’t have a stencil you can cut the sandwich into quarters, or remove the crust if necessary. Be creative, have fun with this classic sandwich and your kids will surely love it.
